This tour will take you to the northern part and experience karamajongos,Acholis, Iteso,Bagisu, who are friendly to the visitors, this ensures answers to one’s curiosity of understanding African way of life, like, the rational to the periodic cultural circumcision of the “MASAABA” traditionally known as “EMBALU” from eastern Uganda, continue to kidepo national park where you meet with a diverse wildlife, continue to the al mighty Murchison fall with game views and a boat cruise on the Nile

Day 1: Arrival at the Airport

Our Guide/driver will be already waiting to pick you up from the airport and transfer you to booked hotel or lodge for the first night depending on your time of arrival to rest as you wait for your marvelous and memorable safari to all Uganda national parks for the adventure.

Day 2: Drive to Jinja
After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge by the guide/driver who will then drive you to Jinja. You will get a chance to relax on the Nile. There some optional activities you can engage in, like water rafting, or even a visit to the source of the Nile and see the point where the Nile starts from before its journey to Egypt.. Have your dinner and spend night at your lodge

Day 3: Jinja to Sipi falls

After the breakfast, you can go through Jinja town once the industrial capital of Uganda but turned residential with many old Indian styled structures in which many Indians lived during the pre-Amin era. There is a place where you can buy Ugandan crafts if you are interested.

After that, you depart Jinja then drive to the Sipi Falls a hiden eastern part of Uganda. you will pass through Mbale, a charming town at the foot of the Mount Elgon. This area is full of rich heritage and fascinating culture. With some beautiful view points on our way we will reach Sipi Village, nestled between mountains and waterfalls.

Day 4: Sipi Falls Hike
In morning you will enjoy a hike to the Sipi Falls. Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls in the district of Kapchorwa, northeast of Sironko and Mbale. The waterfalls lie on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park near the Kenyan border. Pass typical African bandas, banana plantations and maize fields while you descend to the different waterfalls.

In afternoon you will take a visit on a coffee community walk for a cultural experience of coffee farming. Sipi Falls is the home of Bugisu washed arabica coffee - one of the finest coffees in the world. You have the chance to learn the process of making this coffee, talk to the farmers, learning about the plantations and then roasting your own coffee to take home with you. The tour starts with a walk around the local area to see the coffee plantations to learn a little about the life of a coffee plant. If you're here during the harvesting season (usually around September) then you can also help pick and wash the coffee

Day 5: drive to moroto

afeter your breakfast, you will start on your journey to moroto

Day 6: drive to visit manyatta
Very early in morning, you will drive to where you will have the most highlights of your safari by paying a visit to a karamoja manyatta community. A Manyatta visit will be culturally enlightening and refreshing since it this is not a Tourist staged event but you will see how the Karamojong live, the houses where you have to bend down to enter through a small entrance, observe community life, and one of the highlights is of course the traditional dancing which is accompanied by high jumping, all performed in honor of your visit.Visit the sliding rock and also an authentic Karamojong craft shopif at all time allows.

The Karamojong are the most distinctive group in northeast Uganda and known primarily for their love of cattle and cattle rustling and their resistance to modern civilization. If you can plan your tour to arrive in Kotido on a Wednesday you'll have the chance to experience an authentic Karamajong cattle market. Some herders walk for 5 hours to be able to buy or sell their goats, cows or chicken here. It’s a colorful and stunning sight and one of the few remaining authentic experiences

Day 7: drive to Kidepo
Today you continue along the rough road journey to the Kidepo Valley N.P. but on way you will have a visit to the IK culture which lives in the mountains that make up Morungole which is on the border with Kenya and in the Kidepo Valley Park Region. It is said to be a small tribe of between 10,000 to 11,000 people having migrated from Ethiopia and first settled in Kenya and migrated to what is now Kidepo Valley Park.

You have to be physically fit to climb the mountains – the peak of Mount Murongole is 2,749 meters above sea level to the villages.You will find stunningly beautiful Scenery as you climb,in the valleys below you reach the villages.you will be greeted warmly with traditional dancing often in Ik finery.  Enjoy the different cultural ways of the Ik people, the raising of children is quite different here, learn how they make local beer, if tasted will be quite different from what you are used to. After this visit you will then continue to kidepoValley Park. Dinner and a night

Day 8: Game drive & nature walk
Today you wake up early for a game drive; as long as you wish as you enjoy baeutifull scenery, keep your eyes peeled for buffalo, giraffes, zebras, elands, oribis and elephants – and even the odd jackal. Your guide may even be able to locate lions, sunbathing atop rocks, leopards and this is the only place in Uganda where you can find the cheetah and ostrich...

After lunch you will go for another game drive to the border of Sudan Or stretch your legs for a bush walk through the park.

Day 9: visit to the karamoja community
Today you will drive to the surrounding communities; you will Visit the Lorokul Cultural Group and explore the fascinating, ancient culture of the Karamojong. Visit traditional homesteads, sample local dishes and hear stories of the folklore of this remote tribe.

Day 10: Drive to Gulu
Today we go to Gulu. The drive will be long, rough, and dusty, so get ready for the “African Massage!” You will have a stopover and have an overnight stay at the lodge in Gulu town.

Day 11: Drive to Murchison Falls

After an early breakfast you will visit the Wawoto Kacel Cooperative - a social arts & crafts centre created in 1997 with the help of the NGO Camboni Samaritans. In the morning, you can follow one of two hands-on workshops: either African jewelry or banana fiber postcard. The workshops will be guided by the women themselves and you can keep your own creations. After the workshop you are welcome to visit their gift shop, to see if there is anything interesting to bring back home.

After this wonderful experience, you will sit down for lunch and then continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 12: Game drive & Boat Safari
In the early morning after your breakfast, you will enjoy your first game drive through the park, and you have spectacular view of different animal species including; Elephants, Giraffe, Buffalo, Antelope, kobs (which are very common), and also you will be able to spot Lions or Leopards relaxing in the sunshine.

In the afternoon, you will have a relaxing boat trip along the Nile, and here, you will see animal like; Hippos, crocodiles and also various bird species along the river banks, and of course, hearing thunderous sounds of the high speed waterfall as you get near to its bottom

Day 13:  drive back to Kampala
after your breakfast, you will drive by car and visit the top of the dramatic falls where water straggles to escape through a narrow gorgeto the bottom forming a pool of water before it sets off for the long journey. You then proceed back to Kampala arriving early evening; the guide will drive to the airport to catch your flight.

This Tour is based on a Min-van with 4wd. it seats from up to the maximum of 8 persons. All our used vehicles are well maintained, customized with comfortable seats, a pop up roof which gives a wide viewing 360 angle!!

Accommodation & Transport – Mid-range

For this trip accommodation you will be staying in lodge or Camps which are built in  African safari style tents, comfortably furnished with twin or double beds. Each unit has its own private ensuite bathroom with a flush toilet, a dressing room and a hot water shower. Seated from your own verandah, the red or black and white colobus can often be observed in the dense camp surrounding
